Just stumbled on this video. I knew Calder (the sax player) in Amsterdam in the 90's - amazing player, amazing person taken from us way too soon. Glad this memory exists.

On almost the first half of the play, the background 'electronic organ' tunes give a smooth groove onto the entire session, even the band is a quartet of consisting of one drums, one guitar, and two horns, and then the 'organ' disappeared on its second half. Did the 'organist' get fired in the right middle of the session? It's just astonishing.

Who is the bass player?
Charlie is playing an 8 string guitar. 3 bass strings and 5 guitar strings. The guitar part is running through a Leslie cab. He plays bass and guitar parts simultaneously.
